The Fifth Court

1. A bowl of water.

2. A bell or coin, dropped into the bowl.

3. Remove your shoes. Feel the floor.

4. A candle somewhere in the room.

5. A chair built of wood placed directly behind you.

Blindfold

These are needed for the game to start.

Steps

Step 1. You must ask for an audience with Him. Enter your request into the box on the next page. If you cannot, write it on paper. Burn it before you proceed to the next step.

Step 2. Set up for the game. Prepare all of your items as listed above.

Step 3. Use a spacious, empty room that will be easily shielded from light.

Step 4. The game begins at 11PM exactly. Once you enter the room and light the candle, you must not leave. Keep it close. The chair must be at your back.

Step 5. A friend must lock the door and wait on the outside with a timer set to 15 minutes. They may only enter if the player calls out "End! End! End!". A window must be opened for one hour afterward as stated in rule 3. To finish step 5, put on your blindfold. Main lights stay off, room stays quiet.

The game will commence.

Rules

1. Be of sound mind and body. Relaxed and open, and remain standing the duration of the game.

2. Leave the blindfold on once you have tied it. No questions.

3. The candle must remain lit before the game starts and must be put out in the water bowl by game end. If it has gone out during the game, you must open the nearest window in the house after the game for one hour. Keep your distance from both rooms.

4. Be courteous and respectful after He takes his seat. Be open and well-behaved and do not turn to face Him.

5. No matter what, thank Him after your friend alerts you to the timer's end. You may then remove the blindfold.
